VETS-4212 & EEO-1 REPORTS

VETS-4212

The VETS-4212 Reports must be filed by September 30th of each calendar year. This report includes the number of employees in the workforce by job category and hiring location and the number of such employees who are qualified protected veterans. The report also includes the total number of new hires during the previous 12 months and the number of hires who are qualified protected veterans.

EEO-1 REPORTS

The EEO-1 Report is a compliance survey mandated by federal regulations. Federal government prime contractors of first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and a prime for first-tier subcontract of $50,000 or more are required to file and EEO-1 Report annually. The next EEO-1 Report will be due on March 31, 2018. The report requires company to categorize employees by EEO-1 job category and then by sex and ethnicity/race.  The “workforce snapshot period” has changed and is now between October 1 and December 31.
